What we do
A small, flexible operation. Rather than holding a large permanent roster, we bring in vetted specialists to suit each event. What you always get is direct access to the directors and full accountability for the team we provide.
Our SIA-licensed security personnel are experienced professionals with genuine operational background. Our team is built through personal recommendations and direct approaches from trusted colleagues. Every operative is personally vetted by the directors, with references actively followed up before anyone is placed on an event.
We provide on-site medical planning and first aid cover. We are not CQC-registered and do not offer patient conveyance. For events requiring clinical or ambulance provision, we work closely alongside trusted CQC-registered providers to ensure the right level of care is in place. We will never overstate our own clinical capacity.
We bring in specialist stewards for each event rather than maintaining a permanent roster. This keeps us flexible and ensures the right personnel are matched to the right event. Our stewards come to us through personal recommendation and are vetted directly — not sourced from an agency pool.
Fire safety planning and on-site compliance, structured in accordance with current legislation and industry guidance. Andy holds a NEBOSH certification — a recognised qualification in occupational health, safety and risk management — applied to every event we cover.

Foundations
We are not a large company, and we do not pretend to be. These are the principles the directors of EMT Services have worked to every day across a combined 35+ years in the industry.
Rather than drawing from large agency pools, we build teams suited to each event. Operatives come to us through personal recommendation and direct approach, are vetted by the directors, and have their references followed up. We are straightforward about our capacity and will not overpromise on numbers.
Our planning is guided by recognised credentials held at director level, including NEBOSH and Level 4 Safeguarding. We are also registered trainers for Highfield and Pro Trainings, and members of the Association of Healthcare Trainers (AOHT).
As co-owners, Sid and Andy try to be directly involved in the operation. Subject to availability, you will often find us working on the ground alongside the team as team leads or extra hands — that practical approach is how we have always preferred to operate.
Most of our team bring a wealth of life experience and a seasoned professional background to their work. We value that maturity — the ability to read a situation calmly, engage with people respectfully, and de-escalate where needed.
Properly trained, vetted and fairly paid teams cost money, and our charges reflect that. We will not race to the bottom on price where public safety is concerned. Pricing is always transparent and matched to the cover your event actually needs.
We plan and manage events in line with the Purple Guide and the SGSA's Green Guide, so medical and security provision lines up with the frameworks organisers and licensing officers expect.
We try to build teams that reflect the crowds they manage. Understanding the people in front of you matters, and we have found that diverse, well-matched teams tend to perform better in complex crowd environments.
We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), so any data you share is held securely under current legislation. We also try to know our limits — if a project is beyond what we can deliver to our standard, we will say so and step aside rather than let an organiser down.
